Functional Link, an occupational therapy firm based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, aims to bridge the gap to community empowerment by tailoring services to individual family needs. The logo concept originated from the city skyline and its bridges, symbolizing the firm’s deep roots in Pittsburgh.

While incorporating both proved too visually complex, the final design features a linking bridge subtly integrated within the word “Functional.” The calming and therapeutic color palette reflects the nature of the practice and the care provided to patients daily.
